As a ministry, we are committed to building an Ontario where Black children, youth and families have access to culturally focused services to help them reach their full potential. The Ministry of Children and Youth Services is seeking service providers through an Expression-of-Interest process, which will be open from April 16 to May 6, 2018. The process will be used to select agencies to deliver the Youth Justice Reintegration and Supportive Services in Toronto and Peel, the Youth in Transition Worker program in Toronto, Peel and Durham and the Youth Outreach Worker program in Peel.
The ministry’s priority for service delivery is that these services be provided to Black youth and families by Black-led agencies and those with similar lived experience.
We are committed to ongoing collaboration with leaders from the Black community to improve outcomes for Black children and youth.
