0-6 years
The first six years are the most important years in your child’s life. In the early years, the brain forms connections that set the stage for lifelong learning, behaviour and health.
0-3 months
Being a new parent is exciting. It is also hard. In the first three months you will grow and learn along with your baby. Nothing is more important for your baby than spending time with you.
3 to 6 months
When babies experience a variety of sounds, smells, sights, feelings and loving touches, their brains make connections that help them learn language, problem solving and even math in later life.
6 to 9 months
During this time your baby will begin to get mobile. Very soon, she will be taking her first steps. Your job is to encourage her to explore in a safe way.
9 to 12 months
Parents are their baby’s first and most important teachers. But you don’t need to put pressure on yourself to teach her anything. The magic of babies is that they learn from everything around them.
