Mental Health Services

New funding for mental health services

As announced in the 2011 Budget, Ontario is investing in a comprehensive Mental Health and Addictions Strategy that puts kids first.

As many as 50,000 kids and their families will benefit from the significant investments that will start this year and grow to $93 million a year by 2013-14.

New services and supports will focus on three key areas – fast access to high-quality services, early identification and support, and vulnerable kids with unique needs.
