Ontario Child Benefit

The Ontario Child Benefit provides direct financial support to low to moderate income families – whether they are working or not. It helps parents with the cost of raising their children.

The Ontario Child Benefit supports about one million children in over 500,000 families. It provides a maximum payment of $1,434 per child per year.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) administers the Ontario Child Benefit on behalf of the Ontario government.
